There are several under bed options available for this bed; you can select the three drawers storage AND twin trundle unit that would allow you create a 2nd sleeping space, six drawers under the bed for lots of storage or you can also add a second set of 6 drawers for just a little more and have a true Captains Bed. The Discovery World Furniture Twin Captain Bed comes with the slat kits included (no need for bunkie boards)! The merlot finish is a deep rich brown stain with a hint of red that can be seen when the sunlight or bright lights are shining, a very sophisticated look for both girls and boys!

Configuration Options:
• 3 Drawers & Twin Trundle - the under bed storage drawers are mounted above the twin trundle unit. The drawers and trundle face have indented drawer pulls and have european glide rollers on the drawers. Inside drawer dimensions are 18.5 inches x 15.5 inches x 6 inches.
• 6 Drawer Under Bed Storage Unit - The under bed storage drawers are fully assembled and simply slide under the bed after assembly, they have indented drawer pulls and have european glide rollers. Inside drawer dimensions are 18.5 inches x 15.5 inches x 6 inches.
• 12-Drawers: The 12-drawer option allows you to put a 6-drawer unit on each side of the bed. All drawer units come fully assembled, and the drawers are on roller glides.
